PW Privacy Policy

This policy explains how PECZAWEB CONSULTANCY ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit this website or use PW (the "Service"). We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and other applicable Indian law.

1. Who we are

PECZAWEB CONSULTANCY, Subbayya Pillai Compond 61H/56, 2ND FLOOR, YMR Patti, Dindigul, Tamil Nadu - 624005. For your own account data we act as a Data Fiduciary. For documents and data our customers upload into the Service, the customer is the Data Fiduciary and we process that data on their behalf as a Data Processor.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, work email, password (stored only as a secure hash), workspace name and role.
• Contact and demo requests: name, email, phone, company and your message.
• Customer content: documents you upload, email or send through the API, and the text and data extracted from them.
• Usage and technical data: pages processed, log records, IP address and browser information used for security and support.

3. Why we use it

• To provide, secure and support the Service, including processing documents you send.
• To meter usage against your plan and to bill you.
• To reply to your enquiries and send service messages.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use customer content to improve the Service for other customers.

4. Service providers

We use carefully chosen providers for cloud hosting, email delivery, payments and AI-based extraction. They process data only on our instructions and under confidentiality and security obligations. When AI extraction is used, the document is sent to our AI model provider for processing. A current list of providers is available on request.

5. Where data is stored and for how long

Data is hosted in India (Mumbai). Files and extracted data are kept while your account is active and deleted on request or when you delete them.

Billing and tax records are kept for the period required by law.

6. Security

We use access controls, workspace isolation, hashed credentials, encrypted connections and signed, short-lived file links. See our security page for details. No system is completely secure; we will notify you and the authorities of a personal data breach as required by law.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may:

• access a summary of the personal data we process about you;
• ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your personal data;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity;
• raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India.

If your data was uploaded by one of our customers (for example on an invoice), please contact that customer first; we will assist them.

8. Cookies and local storage

We use only what is needed to run the Service, such as storing your login session in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.

9. Children

The Service is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 18.

10. Changes

We will post updates on this page and change the date above. Significant changes will be notified by email.
