The challenge
Lakme lends to distributors, retailers and small businesses. Its website has two jobs: explain its loan products simply to the people it serves, and publish the governance documents a lender is expected to make public, from its Fair Practice Code and interest rate policy to its grievance redressal process.
Those policies are reviewed and approved by the board, so the site has to be easy to keep current every time a new version is approved.
What we built
We built the site on WordPress with Elementor, so Lakme's team can edit pages without a developer. The home page introduces the company and its four lending products (distributor finance, invoice finance, retailer finance and salary advance) along with its outsourcing and LSP services, investor relations, a news board and full contact details including the company's CIN.
A Governance and Policy section in the footer links every policy from every page. When the board approved an updated set of 19 policies in October 2026, we replaced the documents, updated the links across the site and backed the site up before and after the change.
